The Global Professional Award is a program you, as a Huddersfield student, can participate in alongside your undergraduate degree*. It’s designed to arm you with valuable skills and attributes that we know employers are looking for. The aim is to get you ready for life in employment, by not only enhancing your ability to showcase your work ethic and create your own opportunities but teaching you valuable ways to protect your wellbeing and deepen your understanding of global and social issues.
The skills you can hope to develop through the Global Professional Award (GPA) include:
- Employability & Enterprise: helping you to understand what employers want in graduates and leaders, and giving you the opportunity to develop these skills and capabilities.
- Wellbeing: providing you with the opportunity to develop tools that will contribute to your physical and mental health at university and as a graduate.
- Global and Social Awareness: helping you to understand and navigate the key social and political issues that will impact you as students and graduates.
