Eyesight is one of our key senses and looking after people’s eyes is what optometrists do. If you want to pursue a fulfilling and exciting career in a rewarding health care profession, then optometry could be for you. Our Optometry MOptom degree is subject to approval by the General Optical Council and is fully aligned with the new standards for optometry.
Optometry graduates may work in corporate optometry, in private independent practice (where you can start your own business), in hospital optometry working with other ophthalmic colleagues or in research and teaching.
