Checking in

There are two check in locations across campus, make sure you check in so you can claim your travel contribution

  • Student Central (Queensgate Campus)
  • Daphne Steele (National Health Innovation Campus, Southgate) Watch our video for the safe walking route from the Queensgate campus to the National Health Innovation Campus.

Need a quieter or more accessible check in? Visit the helpdesk in Student Central and we’ll be able to help you there.

*Our contribution towards travel cost

After the Open Day, you can claim up to £75 towards your journey between your home address and the University of Huddersfield, if you attend (make sure you check in on the day so that we know that you attended). The below table provides details of the contributions we will make:

Claiming your reimbursement

To claim your reimbursement, we’ll send you an email after the Open Day with a link to a secure form, ask you to confirm your personal details and provide us with your bank/building society details. Once submitted, payment can take up to 30 days to appear in your bank account.
