You can use Clearing if you’ve changed your mind, achieved different grades to expected or are applying for the first time.

To start in September 2024, the last date you can apply to UCAS is 25 September 2024.
If you apply by 30 June 2024, your application will be processed through the UCAS main scheme.
If you apply after this date, your application will go straight into Clearing.
