The University of Huddersfield is one of the most international universities in England which is very enriching. Many countries are represented on the campus and the students are truly approachable and open minded. Being part of a society complements the classes: it allows students to create bonds with others, grow-up together and share their cultures. It is a great way to meet people with similar interest and learn new skills. Being part of a society such as the French student society has a real impact on student lives. It helps members build life-lasting memories, grow in confidence and expand their friendship networks. I am very satisfied with that experience and I would encourage everybody to join a society while in this University and get involved in the myriad of activities available.
