"I learned about Huddersfield from an ex-English teacher in Bangkok. I wanted to improve my English, so studying in the UK was a good idea. I originally completed the Pre-Sessional programme at Huddersfield which helped to improve my academic writing skills. I found this very useful and now use all my notes from this course to help with assignments on my Master's degree.
"Since I have been here, I have found it to be a very friendly place and the tutors and staff are so helpful. I did some work experience with a Japanese advertising company and this inspired me to study Digital marketing."
Panarat is looking to work in the advertising sector when she completes her studies.
"I decided to come and study in the UK because of the quality of the education system. The University of Huddersfield offered my degree over a 12-month period compared to other universities that required two years. This helped with my living expenditure costs.
I have a passion for nutrition and food and chose this course to extend my educational profile. Huddersfield was recommended to me by my English teacher in Thailand who was also a graduate of the University and said so many nice things about the campus and town.
Huddersfield is a lovely place with so many friendly people. The campus and facilities are well located and close to the town centre. I have been so impressed with my tutors, while I was in Huddersfield they gave me so much support and since I returned home they have kept in contact and continue to assist me with any help I need. I believe most international students would consider Huddersfield their second hometown".
