"I discovered the University of Huddersfield after meeting a tutor from the department of Engineering. I liked how the University courses were designed to student requirements and met industry needs.
“I thought Huddersfield is a very beautiful town and an excellent place to live and study. While I was here I always felt like I was at home, the people are so friendly especially the staff at the University.
“It's a welcoming town with a nice centre. The campus is spacious with a lot of new buildings and facilities. I can honestly say that it has one of the best automotive laboratories and engineering design workshops in the UK".

“After completing my studies with the Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi ARAMCO), I set my sights on studying abroad. I looked at options to study in the USA and Australia but my main focus was on the UK. Huddersfield was recommended to me by the careers department at my company and I think I was lucky to come to such a great University.
"Previously I worked as a Contract Advisor which involved developing and procuring contacts, providing market and cost analysis to aid management. I think that my degree from the University of Huddersfield will help me to develop further within the company.
"I really enjoyed the friendly and supportive teaching environment and the fantastic library and IT facilities. The town has plenty of nice places to go and has a good mix of people from different countries reflecting different cultures.
“One tip I would like to share with my fellow students is that in order to be successful is to practice what you have been taught immediately”.
I am now working as a Marine Contracts Advisor for Aramco in Dhahran.
