"I am doing MSc Global Logistics and Supply Chain Management in the UK because for the moment, unfortunately, my native country is not able to offer me education of at least the same quality in the field.
"I enjoy collaboration with tutors. They are always available the same time you get a question in your head. However the course requires a lot of self-discipline that implies that you get deep knowledge of the subject by studying on your own most of the time. At the same time the University provides you with experience in working within cross-functional teams. It also develops your leadership skills a lot, believe me!
"My primary goal was to find a university which would provide me with knowledge of high quality in the field I was interested in. When I saw the University of Huddersfield in the very first position on search I decided to take the chance. And I never regret about my decision.
"Huddersfield is a very nice place situated in West Yorkshire. It is the place where you find an appropriate balance between studying and leisure. Moreover, West Yorkshire is the part of England that can be positively called 'traditional England'. There are a lot of places to visit around and in neighbouring cities such as Bradford, Leeds or Manchester. Come here and explore traditional English culture.
"Being grateful for the contribution the University of Huddersfield made to my knowledge of logistics I would like to invest my inspiration and skills to relevant projects offered by UK employers."

“My friends who had been to Huddersfield said that they very much liked the people and the culture and that the cost of living was relatively cheap.....
“The University has a good, strong link with the British College of Banking and Finance in Moscow. Several students worked on placement at Huddersfield over the last few years and it is through them that I heard so many nice things about the town and campus.
“My friends who had been to Huddersfield said that they very much liked the people and the culture and that the cost of living was relatively cheap.
“I am studying advertising as I feel the industry in Russia has not fully developed and there are better career opportunities in the UK. In addition, this will be a good chance for me to improve my English language skills. In my country advertising courses would teach you the theory where as in Huddersfield you really get to understand the practical applications of what you are taught.
“The facilities on campus are all convenient with a 24-hour computing library and I find my tutors very helpful. They take into consideration that English is my second language and I am so pleased that they have come from industry which is reassuring.
“The third year of my course involves a work placement year which will allow me to work for one year in industry and I am looking to work in one of the UK’s bigger cities to build up some experience.
“If I was advising friends back in Russia about the studying in the UK, I’d warn them that it is a hard thing to do. You sacrifice seeing your friends and family but it’s all about the experience.”

“I joined an English school in London which changed my life. My first impressions of England were great. So many people want to help you out. I also like the culture, there is so much to do and so many places to go and visit”.
“As I already have experience in Marketing, I thought it would be a good idea to study in Huddersfield and complete my postgraduate degree. The International Office and Students’ Union have been a great help and I want to thank them for all their support”.
