“I completed my Master’s in Poland and came to the University of Huddersfield for a work placement. I was so impressed with the University and the campus that I applied to do a Master’s at Huddersfield.
“It takes only one year and it’s inexpensive. I also like it because studying in UK is prestigious. I feel more employable with a valuable degree. Multi-national experience in UK helps your ambitions. My course was really practical/theory balanced (case studies and study companies)
“The good thing about the University of Huddersfield is that it offers work placement possibilities, friendly people, helpful staff and new campus. People are very open-minded and always willing to help you.
“It gives you a chance to meet new and interesting people. My flatmate is really nice, Bulgarian and I had never had a friend like this before!!
Huddersfield is a small town but allows you to achieve a more personable experience, where you can see faces frequently.
The campus is a good size; it’s located in the town centre, easy to get around. The University library is well-stocked with lots of support materials etc.
My tutors helped me to settle quickly, with lots of one to one support, that makes you feel like you belong to University.”

“The University facilities are very advanced. The library with its computing facilities is amazing. I have never seen library open 24/7. Students can find everything there.....
“I saw the web page of the University and Huddersfield seemed a really great place to study and live there. When I saw the photos of the campus I knew I wanted to study here and on the top of that I relied on my friends’ opinions who have already been studying here and they it’s an amazing place.
“The University campus made a big impression on me the first time I saw it and my impression stayed unchanged till the end. Everything seems to be new and really looks like a ‘small student world’.
Tutors are very friendly and helpful. They are always there when we need any help or advice. Students feel like they are really important. The way tutors teach and talk to students is very understandable. They don’t just give theory; they give examples and explain every little detail.

“I have met many incredible people here and I am sure we will stay in contact. I have met not only English but people from all over the world and that gives me the best memories ever.
“I really recommend the University as it is a great place to study and develop.”

"I chose the course because European business is becoming a popular discipline these days due to the expansion of the European Union (EU) and easier operations of the companies on the foreign markets.....
"I discovered Huddersfield through my friends and meeting with staff from the University in Rzeszow. I always wanted to study abroad where good education is key to getting a good job and a great possibility to improve my English language skills.
"The University has a good reputation from other Polish students I know who studied here. I found the University staff very helpful with my application process, finding accommodation and arranging my bursary.

"The people at the University are so friendly and the tutors are very helpful, you can always see them for help. There are also well-equipped computer rooms, a good library and everything you need. The town has a lot to offer including bars, restaurants, really nice surrounding countryside and good access to bigger cities like Leeds and York."
