"I heard of Huddersfield from recommendations from friends and I also went to the University Open Day which impressed me.
"I decided to come to England because the universities here are known for their high quality education. I also wanted to do something new, meet new people, learn a different culture and of course I wanted to improve my English language skills.
"The reason I chose the University of Huddersfield was because they are good for design courses and the structure and modules made me want to study here. I felt welcome and comfortable from the first day.
"I really enjoyed the studying. The course has a wide range of interesting modules and projects which gave me a lot of experience which will help me in the future.
"The campus has very modern facilities and you are surrounded by everything you need. There are cafeterias and nice little shops. The library is very comfortable and easy to use and the staff and tutors are always friendly and do their best to help and to make the studies as interesting and comfortable as they can."
“My course involved a final year show which is a really good opportunity for all students and as well for industry people. The students have the chance to promote themselves, to present their work and to make the step into the working industry by getting their first business contacts. The industry people have the chance to talk to students and get students with lots of motivation and fresh ideas for their company.
“It was really nice to see everyone’s work and the development from the first year to the final year. I hope they continue doing these shows in the future.”

“It is so pleasant to study in the UK and I think that Europeans fit in Huddersfield as British people are open minded.”....
“Having studied the first two years at the University of Applied Sciences in Stralsund and a couple of work placements in Germany and Argentina, I decided to come to Huddersfield and study my final year.
"I enjoy my course because I can meet many people from different countries and learn so much about different cultures. What I really like about my course is the opportunity that all students have to choose a dissertation topic that interests them. Lecturers are so helpful and I am really surprised with how better the relationship is with them in contrast with my teachers in Germany.
